Chapter Director Responsibilities are:
To open and manage a chapter for our company in your agreed upon chapter area
To plan and manage a minimum of one, 2 hour event per month in your chapter area
To sell memberships to individuals and businesses
To manage a chapter area portion of the website by posting invitations on the calendar, reviewing RSVPs and blogging about your chapter
To use templates of electronic invitations, circulate them through numerous social media channels and link them back to your chapter area on our website.
To promote the corporate company What Women Want in your chapter area through sponsorships and business memberships

Our most successful directors have had sales experience, are proficient in technology and have a strong desire to support women. Chapter directors need to be entrepreneurial and motivated women because running a chapter is like running your own division of our company. We provide training and support, in addition to occasionally attending events, but directors need to be proficient in social media marketing, event planning and selling memberships. This part time and work from home position is commission only.
Most directors require more hours at the beginning at the of the position for training and officially launching a chapter with a high profile event, but once that is complete you are on your way! We require a director to have at least one event/month (some have two or more!) and of course, keep up with the members and consistently support them and our fabulous group of women.
Successful Candidate Requirements:
Must have knowledge how to use social media for promotion
Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel
Knowledge of event marketing strategies
Large network of contacts in the chapter area
Possess Sales Skills
Have a desire to help other women promote their business and expand their knowledge base with interesting speakers
Must be a team player
Looking to be part of a quickly growing and innovative company
