Meet our newest professional experts, Rachel and Mary:


Rachel Braun Scherl and Mary Wallace Jaensch are the president, CEO and co-founders of Semprae Laboratories, Inc., a company by women and for women, dedicated to the idea that all women deserve sexual satisfaction.   Semprae’s flagship product is Zestra®Essential Arousal Oils™, a patented blend of botanical oils and extracts, topically-applied and clinically proven to increase sexual arousal, desire and satisfaction for women.  As nationally-recognized experts, Rachel and Mary will launch their weekly segment on Lifetime’s  A Balancing Act, a morning talk show dedicated to women, their challenges, successes and questions in September.

Becky Wenner, Founder of Becky's Fitness Company, is a highly qualified multi-level certified fitness instructor. She is certified as an Adventure Boot Camp Instructor and Fitness Nutrition Coach by the National Exercise and Sports Training Association (NESTA). Rebecca also holds other training certificates including Personal Training Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and Group Fitness Instruction from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She also holds her certification in kickboxing from AFAA and she is CPR and AED certified. Her life experiences left Becky with the desire to share her love of fitness with others. She is dedicated to helping others pursue and achieve their goals for improved health and fitness and a more active lifestyle. Becky’s Fitness Company was designed to take her love of food, fitness and fun and bring it to others to enjoy!! Most recently, Becky became a Certified Personal Fitness Chef through NESTA. 

Becky currently teaches aerobics and group fitness classes for many prestigious fitness clubs and spas throughout New York City. She has been featured and quoted in several publications including the Miami Fitness Examiner, Bayside Times, Queens Courier, Tribune, and currently holds the post of Health and Wellness editor of Young Muscle Magazine. Makeup Artist/Beauty Expert and Creator of Color by Cynde Watson Cosmetics, Cynde has been making her mark on the beauty industry for over 15 years.  From being crowned Miss New Jersey to Executive Director of Global Makeup Artistry and Education for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics to Lead Makeup Pro for Mark/Avon Cosmetics – it’s clear that beauty is Cynde’s calling.

So how did Cynde make the transition from beauty queen to beauty expert? While working as a model, Cynde found herself doing her own makeup as well as the makeup for other models.  “I got a lot of positive response and realized I could combine my formal education in Fine Arts with my understanding of color and love for makeup and beauty”.  Cynde’s work as a model led her to the Miss New Jersey Pageant where she won the title in 1992.  Two years later, Cynde transitioned into a full-time career in makeup and beauty.

 

Cynde has compiled an enviable list of credentials.  She has worked with some of the hottest names in the entertainment industry including Angela Bassett, Queen Latifah, Paris Hilton, Lauren Conrad, Paula Abdul, Eva Amurri, Christina Milian, Tara Reid, Carmen Electra, Nikki Taylor, Giselle Bundchen, Holly Robinson Peete, Anika Noni Rose, Nick Lachey, Tyson Beckford and Quincy Jones.  Her artistry has been featured in numerous publications like In Style, Glamour, Seventeen, O, Essence, More, Vibe and People.  She is a key player backstage at New York Fashion Week and has created runway looks for Vera Wang, Badgley Mischka, Marc Bouwer, Tommy Hilfiger, Halston, Oscar de la Renta, Peter Som, Alvin Valley, Zang Toi, Roland Mouret, Dennis Brasso and Plenty by Tracy Reese.  TV credits include “Oprah”, “CBS The Early Show”, “Today Show”, Movie and a Makeover, “What I Hate About Me”-The Style Network, “The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet”, “Fashionably Late” with Stacy London, “Ambush Makeovers”, “B. Matt Titus is a nationally recognized dating and relationship coach, matchmaker and lifestyle expert who works with singles and helps them find true love. What sets Matt apart is the fact he delivers relationship advice from the perspective of a man who played the field, learned from his mistakes and was given a second chance at love.

Matt hosted Lifetime's "Matched in Manhattan" a reality show based on his business and life as a relationship expert and newlywed. Matt has co-authored two books with his wife Tamsen Fadal , “Why Hasn’t He Called” and the soon to be released “Why Hasn’t He Proposed” (February 2009). Both books are largely considered the dating and relationship Bibles for singles and couples. These books have garnered national media attention from The Tyra Banks Show, The Martha Stewart Show, and The CBS Early Show. MARINA's high-nrg fitness audio workouts come complete with original music written, produced, and performed by MARINA at the right tempo, with motivating lyrics and verbal instructions.

Marina Kamen/aka/MARINA, co-owner of Kamen Entertainment Group, is a woman of the new millennium. Born a native New Yorker, MARINA started dance at age 4 in New York City, added violin and piano at age 7, and then , by the age of 11, went on to study opera and violin at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music. By the early 1980's, MARINA started to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She pioneered and spearheaded the aerobic exercise industry as one of the original instructors at Body Design By Gilda in New York City.

Before long, MARINA discovered that dance-driven "high-nrg" tracks were perfect for walking to. As a matter of fact, they were perfect for any workout much like the music from the 70's and 80's that MARINA had grown to love during her years of teaching aerobics. Soon, she found her winning combination of walking, dancing to her own tracks, and a portion-controlled, well-balanced meal plan. Within a year, MARINA dropped close to 100 pounds!

By 2001, MARINA had written music and acted as choreographer, developer and host spokesperson for clients including QVC/Direct, Jazzercise, Dynamix, Equinox Gyms, Jackie Chan's CableFlex and Strive Enterprise with Bill Kazmier (ESPN).

MARINA has been seen on The Discovery Health Network, PBS, and Nickelodeon (The N), as well being covered in the New York Times, The Daily News, and Family Circle Magazine. In addition, MARINA's "high-nrg fitness" cable TV show currently airs in various states though out the US.

Debora Fougere is an award-winning journalist with a solid history covering fashion for some of the country’s most notable outlets.  She began her career as a writer in local news at WABC-TV in New York, and produced newscasts for WNYW-TV, Fox News Channel and CNBC, and produced both news and feature segments for Good Morning America and the CBS Saturday Early Show.  She began following fashion as a producer on Style Network, and continued covering the shows for CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” and “American Morning”.  As a news producer, she’s taken home Emmy, Peabody and DuPont Journalism awards as part of the teams covering September 11th, the Indonesian Tsunami and Hurricane Katrina, and travelled the world writing and producing pieces on CNN’s Faith & Values and Terrorism beats.  Debora is married to photographer Anton Brookes, and lives in New York City.
